Being built at Dearborn and Adams streets in the Loop, the two-tower Dearborn Center features 63,000 sf on lower floors, 33,000 sf on middle and upper floors. The building will have floor-to-window ceilings. In addition to 10-foot ceilings, there will be an additional four feet for cables and underfloor air distribution.
Earlier to Citadel Investment's lease, Prime Group Realty Trust leased 617,967 sf to Bank One Corp. and 104,049 sf to Holland & Knight.
Dearborn Center is the largest of Prime Group Realty Trust's three current development projects. It also is in a joint venture to develop a 60-story, 1.2-million sf tower for Hyatt Corp.'s headquarters at Monroe Street and Wacker Drive in the West Loop as well as the 91,000-sf, $13.3-million Prime Meadows project in north suburban Libertyville.
