Opus Northwest, the Minnetonka, MN-based developer of the Best Buy project, has worked deals to buy all but one of the 83 properties that will need to be cleared to make way for the project. Walser Automotive, however, has resisted the project, and the city has begun condemnation proceedings against it. Opus officials hope to start work on the project this spring.
