No Slowdown Evident at RPW Group's White Plains Properties

WHITE PLAINS-RPW Group President Robert P Weisz says that despite some talk that the market is slowing down, leasing is brisk at his properties and the problem he now faces is finding suitable buildings for sale in the county.

WHITE PLAINS-Three recent lease deals totaling 25,000 sf have put RPW Group’s 120 Bloomingdale Rd. office building (150,000 sf) here at full occupancy. Company officials also report that leases are out on the firm’s 99 Church St. building (120,000 sf) that would fill up that downtown office property as well.

RPW Group President Robert P. Weisz tells GlobeSt.com that the law firm Oxman, Tulis, Kirkpatrick, Wayatt & Geiser LP has signed a lease for 10,000 sf of space at its 120 Bloomingdale Rd. building. The merger of several area law firms precipitated this law firm’s move here, Weisz related.

In addition, Zoho, a hotel reservation subsidiary of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc., has signed on for 11,000 sf of space at the building. Rounding out the recent deals, the building owner — the RPW Group of Mount Vernon — will occupy 4,000 sf of space at the property.
