J.A. Jones E&C, a Lockwood Greene subsidiary, is building the plant for the Oleander Power Project Limited Partnership. The plant will be a high-efficiency, simple-cycle peaking station with four GE Frame 7FA gas turbine generator sets and can be expanded to five units, according to the published report.

J.A. Jones serves power, manufacturing, process, and institutional clients. The firm has more than 3,000 megawatts constructed in Florida, with 2,600 megawatts under construction.
