$10-Mil Financing Arranged for Newly Sold Hotel St. Barth Isle de France

NEW YORK CITY-The London offices of Insignia Hotel Partners have arranged for more than $10 million in debt finance on behalf of private UK investors who have just purchased the Caribbean hotel.

NEW YORK CITY-On the tiny tropical island of the French Winward Islands a luxury hotel, St. Barth Isle de France has sold to a group of investors from the United Kingdom. The new owners, the sellers’ name is not being disclosed at this time, have just received $10 million in debt financing arranged by Insignia Hotel Partners ‘ London office. A spokesperson for Insignia tells GlobeSt.com a modest expansion of the 32-key hotel will be made.

The company spokesperson notes any changes to the hotel will be sensitive to the character of the seven-year-old property. A restricted number of new suites and additional garden bungalows are planned. Currently the rooms include beachfront, garden bungalows and suite bungalows.
