The Abbey Company also announced that it has reached full occupancy at its two-building, 120,578-sf Victoria Business Park in Long Beach. The properties are representative of the extensive mixed-asset portfolio owned and operated across California by the real estate organization.

"To attain this status, approximately 45,000 sf of office/industrial and retail/service facilities were absorbed by 13 business enterprises in a matter of months in two very competitive markets," says Brett Albrecht, VP of asset management for Abbey.

Rancho Carmel Village Center reached full occupancy following the completion of new leases for 1,271 sf, with the Curves for Women fitness center and 1,000 sf with Music 4 Kids.

"While leasing only 2,271 sf was needed for full occupancy at Rancho Carmel Village Center, intense competition in a concentrated market area presented major challenges," says Abbey regional manager Nancy Eagle.

The property's three retail/service buildings are situated on a 3.34-acre site at 12125-12165 Alta Carmel Court, off Avenida Venusto, in San Diego's 1,489-acre master-planned, Carmel Mountain

Ranch community just east of the I-15 freeway.
