Building owner Abe Moore, trustee, has been represented by John M. Talhelm of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. in the deal. Talhelm tells GlobeSt.com the building is a basic crane-served metal fabrication building with a state-of-the art painting system inside. According to Talhelm, Lone Star Equipment Services is a high-end commercial painting company that paints large trucks, buses and air ground equipment. Lone Star has done work for such trucking companies as Stewart & Stevenson, says Talhelm.

With this lease and other recent transactions for the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield, recent leases tally 142,708 sf plus 15 acres in sales. Reports and research published by the company this year seem to indicate an anticipated continuance of the strong commercial real estate market in general.
