The hotel will be in a reconstructed landmark McGraw-Hill Building. The first four floors will be devoted to upscale "Shops at North Bridge" retail use with the lobby on the fifth floor of the 17-story structure. At 418 sf to 550 sf, the rooms are considered to be among the largest in the Chicago hotel market. The 33 suites will range up to 2,000 sf. The hotel also will include 12,000 sf of meeting space.

Although the company has 125-rooms worldwide, the Chicago property is its sixth in the US. Other US properties are in Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, New Orleans and New York. The company also plans to build in Atlanta, Houston, Miami and Washington, DC.
