Fortune purchased the lot from Second Denny Associates LLC, which itself had just acquired it in April 1999 for $556,000. Second Denny is reported to be a partnership of Mack DuBose and Doug Buck, both Seattle investors.

No one at Fortune was immediately available to confirm reports about its plans for this property. The Belltown area is quickly transforming into a residential community with numerous multi-family projects completed, underway and in planning.
