The size of the site, its cost and the estimated construction cost of the plant were not disclosed in the article. Construction is scheduled to begin this month. The facility is expected to begin operations the first quarter of 2002, according to the article.

The new operating company will supply food and related products to foodservice operations throughout South Carolina, as well as the metropolitan areas of Wilmington, NC and Augusta, GA.
