Dunkin, who has been with Colliers Pinkard for more than 17 years, heads the firm's appraisal group. He began his career at Colliers Pinkard in 1983 and was elected an officer and assistant vice president in 1985. In 1987, he was promoted to vice president, and in 1997, became a principal of the company.
The Appraisal Institute, which has more than 20,000 members in 103 chapters across the country, provides real estate appraisal education, research, publishing help and professional membership programs in both the residential and commercial sectors. The Institute was established when the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers merged in 1991.
