The largest lease in the package has been cut by the Weitzman Group. Mapsco Inc., a 50-year-old regional map publisher and retailer, is taking 24,000 sf of office space in the 4181 Centurion Building, located at 1510 Midway Rd. Mapsco intends to consolidate it Maple Avenue headquarters and an off-site warehouse with the move to the Centurion Building. Larry Denisoff and Joe Martinez with Weitzman's Corporate Services Division have handled negotiations. The building is owned by 15101 Midway Rd. Partners.
In a 23,334-sf lease, the Staubach Co. has signed Aerie Networks Inc. to an office spot at Jupiter/190, a Plano holding of Jackson Shaw and Jupiter 7 LP. Aerie has set a May move-in. Staubach's Larry Toon and Jim Ballard have acted on the tenants behalf for 600 Development Dr. Geoff Meyer has represented the building owner.
Network 2000 Communications has inked a 10-year deal for 20,910 sf at 2020 Live Oak in Dallas. The company is a manager of telecommunications services for businesses. An Insignia/ESG leasing team consisting of Jay Annand in Dallas and Troy Giammarco in New York City have represented the tenant. Building owner Duggan Realty has used in-house broker L.J. Erickson for the deal.
A 6,000-sf office has been taken by Argoquest Holdings LLC, now operating out of Los Angeles. The three-year-old company is comprised of a network of more than 60 Israeli-based high-tech firms. Argoquest's first office outside of Los Angeles will be located at 1005 Village Park in Colleyville. Argoquest plans to have 10 people in place in the next year to support the office, which will serve as a temporary US headquarters.
