DALLAS-In a spate of leasing activity, brokers have signed four tenants to 74,244 sf of office space in the Dallas area.

The largest lease in the package has been cut by the Weitzman Group. Mapsco Inc., a 50-year-old regional map publisher and retailer, is taking 24,000 sf of office space in the 4181 Centurion Building, located at 1510 Midway Rd. Mapsco intends to consolidate it Maple Avenue headquarters and an off-site warehouse with the move to the Centurion Building. Larry Denisoff and Joe Martinez with Weitzman’s Corporate Services Division have handled negotiations. The building is owned by 15101 Midway Rd. Partners.

In a 23,334-sf lease, the Staubach Co. has signed Aerie Networks Inc. to an office spot at Jupiter/190, a Plano holding of Jackson Shaw and Jupiter 7 LP. Aerie has set a May move-in. Staubach’s Larry Toon and Jim Ballard have acted on the tenants behalf for 600 Development Dr. Geoff Meyer has represented the building owner.
