The merged real estate firm will be known as Strategis/CRESA. The eight-member office will create a team with all of the necessary tools for success as a brokerage firm, Chuck Goldstein, founding principal of Goldstein & Associates/CRESA, tells GlobeSt.com. He cites professional experience and research capabilities as two of the tools this new team will have.
Art Baylis, Strategis senior managing partner says: "We recognized the benefits of CRESA's national and international reach and its position as a leader in start-to-finish space-user services such as strategic planning and project management."
The headquarters of Strategis/CRESA, Houston, are located at 5959 San Felipe, but Goldstein says he will continue to maintain a downtown office to service his clients there. His largest client is Chevron, but also boasts a roster that includes Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Verio.
The 11-year-old Goldstein & Associates had joined the CRESA network in 1994. Strategis, founded in 1997, specializes in tenant representation and corporate advisory services, a venue that Goldstein says is a good match with his firm's "likeminded focus." The merged firm also will offer process management, site selection, transaction management, strategic planning and corporate facility change services.CRESA Inc.'s chairman Bill Goade feels this is a significant step towards boosting the company's presence in the Houston market.
