ShipChem Signs $11.7-Mil Lease for 45,000 SF at Concourse VI

ATLANTA-The year-old international e-logistics firm takes a 10-year lease for its new headquarters in Concourse office park in the Central Perimeter submarket.

ATLANTA-Fast growing ShipChem, a global e-logistics company, has signed a 10-year lease for 45,000 sf in Concourse VI. The 697,400-sf building, in the landmark Concourse office park, is in the Central Perimeter submarket at I-285 and GA 400. Rental rates in Concourse are $26 per sf and $27 per sf. Currently housed in executive suites space, the company plans to move about 100 employees into its new headquarters during the third quarter.

ShipChem, formed in March 2000 by Eastman Chemical and Global Logistics, provides logistics services to the chemical and plastics industries worldwide. Although a start-up, it was formed from an existing entity, and the company began with a contract of more than $1 billion with Eastman Chemical.
