Apparel Company Returns to Former Space

COLUMBUS, GA-In 1998, Russell Corp. vacated its 300,000-sf plant in Columbus in a restructuring move, but plans to move back into most of the space this summer with distribution operations.

COLUMBUS, GA-Russell Corp. will be the new tenant in its own building. The apparel company, based jointly in Atlanta and Alexander City, AL, plans to set up a distribution center in 245,000 sf of its 300,000-sf building, according to a published report.

Russell previously had embroidery and distribution operations as well as offices in the facility. Columbus is 125 miles south of Atlanta.
