She has been serving as the interim president since Dan Schenkein resigned and relocated to join the Grand Forks, ND Chamber of Commerce.

Cash, who has an extensive career in retail and shopping center management, was hired as the director of marketing and Wyandotte Development, Inc. in 1993. She will be working with the Business/Education Coalition and the Kansas City Kansas Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Two of the first major projects Cash will be directly involved with are the new Kansas Speedway, set to open this summer and the $236-million retail development adjoining the racetrack. She will also be stepping in as the Hilton Corp. prepares to build the first hotel to be located in downtown Kansas City, KS in a half dozen years.

The Chamber of Commerce has 675 members.
