Brian Thomas, director of operations for Gage, says the facility would help it launch its integrated marketing services. The new building, scheduled for completion in October, will initially consolidate Gage's operations currently located in five separate sites. Plans call for an additional two locations to be moved from into the Rogers building in 2002.

The center is located on a 22-acre site in the Rogers' Industrial Park on the north side of Interstate 94 near Highway 101.

Opus Northwest was represented in the deal was handled by Michele Foster, its senior director of real estate, and Craig Patterson, its director of real estate. Gage was represented by Kurt Knoff, its senior vice president, John Ferlita, senior associate of C.B. Richard Ellis Advisory Services, Marlys Enger, a facilities management consultant and Greg Voss of Welsh Construction. The seller of the land was represented by Charles Pfeffer of the Pfeffer Co.

Opus Northwest is a regional affiliate of Opus Corp., a Minneapolis-based design, construction and development firm that specializes in office, industrial, institutional and retail facilities throughout the US.
