MIDDLETON, MA-Edify Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of S1 Corp., opened a speech solutions center here. The Santa Clara, CA-based company is a provider of multi-channel customer interaction solutions.

The company hopes to develop customized best-of-breed natural language applications here by building Edify Voce Virtual Customer Service Representative solutions using technology the company developed at its training center. The Center will offer full solution life-cycle services. According to company spokesperson, George Shaffner, this area was chosen because, “it is a great academic and business center with excellent access to the eastern seaboard.”
