O'Donoghue was formerly vice president of the Detroit Economic Growth Group until last year. Marantette resigned from the Greater Downtown Partnership Inc. early this year.
O'Donoghue was also appointed to the Quantitude board of directors. In her new position, O'Donoghue is responsible for leading the global sales and marketing efforts at Quantitude. Marantette will head up Quantitude's new Midwest sales office in Downtown Detroit.
O'Donoghue joined Galileo in July 2000 as vice president, product marketing. She played a critical role in attracting sports, entertainment, commercial and industrial development to the city of Detroit. O'Donoghue also has extensive experience in the banking industry.
Marantette, formerly head of real estate for ANR Pipeline in Detroit, is known as the man behind securing the new Compuware headquarters going up in the $550-million Campus Martius headquarters project downtown.
Quantitude, Inc. is a wholly-owned telecommunications network services subsidiary of Galileo International, launched in March 2000. Galileo International is a provider of electronic global distribution services for the travel industry.
