Four Points by Sheraton Hotel to Open in Fall

WHITE PLAINS-Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. announces that the Four Points by Sheraton hotel property currently under construction in Halifax, Nova Scotia is scheduled to open this September.

WHITE PLAINS-The Four Points Hotel by Sheraton facility, currently under construction in Halifax, Nova Scotia, will open by September of this year, according to Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. The hotel is owned by Fortis Properties Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortis Inc. and will operate as a Four Points under a franchise agreement with Starwood The news of the hotel’s pending opening was announced during the Hotel Investment Conference held in Toronto.

The property, which will feature 178 guest rooms, is currently under construction and is being integrated into The Maritime Centre — a high-rise office and shopping mall complex on Salter and Hollis Streets. The Four Points by Sheraton Halifax will be the 17th Four Points by Sheraton facility in Canada.
