Unico, one of Seattle's largest regional office building investor and service providers, moved into the Bay Area market with the purchase of the 33-story building in the city's Financial District. The 403,000-sf tower sold for more than $150 million. It features about 402,534 sf of rentable space. Built in 1972 as the headquarters of the Continental Insurance Company, the building had been renovated by the previous owner Walton Street Capital at the time of purchase.
Margot Crosman has been named new general manager at the Pine Street building. Crosman joined Unico from Danielson Whitehead, Inc. the previous management and leasing company for the building. She is responsible of the building management, overseeing tenant improvements and implementing the capital plan.
Kimberly Brewer is the assistant property manager and she also worked with Danielson Whitehead Inc. as a building coordinator and assistant building manager. She is now responsible for coordinating tenant and vendor relations and on-site bookkeeping at the Pine Street building.
Anne Miller is the new property administrator at the location. She handles tenant relations and will head-up the work order system conversion. Before joining Unico, Miller worked in sales for White Directories and before that she worked as an account executive for Marketing Media Management.
Over the last five years, Unico has doubled its property management and leasing team. The company has acquired more than 3 million sq. ft. of office and retail property throughout the Northwest.
