AMF Antioch Lanes, in the Antioch Shopping Center, was a 24-lane house that had been open in the Northland since the mid 1950's. It was closed for financial reasons.

AMF Ranchmart Lanes, in the Ranchmart Shopping Center at 95th Street and Mission Road in Leawood, KS, will close in April. The lease was not renewed for the center, which was opened in the early 1960s.

At one time, there were 55 bowling centers in Kansas City. The number is now 27. Four other centers have closed since 1997. They include the AMF Sunset Bowl in Kansas City, KS, the Shawnee Village Bowl in Shawnee, KS, the AMF Lucky Strike Lanes, also in Shawnee, KS and the AMF Red Bridge lanes in south Kansas City.
