SPOKANE, WA-A 36,000-sf speculative industrial building is being developed at Liberty Lake Center on behalf of investor Tom Demund of Sausalito, CA. Demund acquired the land for the project last year–along with an adjacent 55,000-sf building leased to a medical supply distribution company–from Garco principals Tim Welsh and Frank Etter.

Liberty Lake Center, just east of Spokane, is a 99-acre business park owned being developed by Metropolitan Mortgage & Security Co. Larry Wibert, VP of Garco Development tells GlobeSt the new $1.6-million building is “only a shell right now,” and will remain so until a tenant is found.
