235,000-sf Building Underway for Microsoft Corp.

REDMOND, WA-When complete, the four-story building will bring the software giant's owned space on the Eastside to more than 5.1 million sf. Add in leased space and the number rises to more than 8.6 million sf.

REDMOND, WA-General contractor GLY Construction is in the ground on Microsoft’s next building. “Building 50″ is a four-story, 235,000-sf structure being developed at the intersection of NE 40th Street and 156th Avenue NE. It is slated for completion before the end of the year.

Mark Kane, project manager for the Bellevue-based construction company, declined to discuss the project with GlobeSt due to a nondisclosure agreement. Callison Architecture of Seattle, the designer, also declined comment.
