It is the chain's second store to open in Colorado and two more are coming in Aurora and Colorado Springs. The other Front Range restaurant is in Denver's Lower Downtown at 1620 Wazee St.
The store hopes to capitalize on the trend toward quick and healthy made-to-order food.Based Ferndale, the first Mongolian BBQ had opened in 1992 in Royal Oak, MI. Since then, it has grown to 21 stores, each with an average annual volume of $2.6 million. In addition to two more Colorado locations, the chain plans to open about another five stores across the country by year's end.
