Of the 100 stores and restaurants identified, 65 will be making their Tampa-area debut at International Plaza, which will be anchored by Dillard's and the market's only Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor. Taubman, developers and managers of the property, will be announcing additional tenants during the spring and summer months.

With six months before opening, the center is 70% leased and committed, says Robert S. Taubman, president and chief executive officer of Taubman Centers.

Tampa-area firsts at International Plaza include Tiffany & Co., Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Nicole Miller. Market favorites include Baily Banks & Biddle, Abercrombie & Fitch, Godiva Chocolatier, and The Sharper Image.

In addition to a 700-seat, nine-kitchen indoor/outdoor food court, the center's new-to-the-market eateries include Profusion (marries traditional flavors of Europe and Asia), Kahunaville (family fun dining in a tropical oasis), and Prezzo (Italian and Mediterranean cuisine). Taubman owns, develops, acquires and operates regional shopping centers nationally. The REIT currently owns and/or manages 28 urban and suburban regional and super regional shopping centers in 12 states. Four additional centers are under construction.
