Taubman Announces First International Plaza Merchants

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI-The mega-mall developer says the Tampa, FL tenants include 65 new-to-the-market stores. The 1.26-million-sf shopping center is on the southeast edge of Tampa International Airport.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI-Taubman Centers, Inc. announced the first 100 mall shops for International Plaza, opening Sept. 14 in Tampa, FL. The new 1.26-million-sf shopping center is located in the heart of the Tampa market, on the southeast edge of Tampa International Airport.

Of the 100 stores and restaurants identified, 65 will be making their Tampa-area debut at International Plaza, which will be anchored by Dillard’s and the market’s only Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor. Taubman, developers and managers of the property, will be announcing additional tenants during the spring and summer months.

With six months before opening, the center is 70% leased and committed, says Robert S. Taubman, president and chief executive officer of Taubman Centers.
