According to the terms of the 15-year lease, the company, which provides high-bandwidth data transport services, will occupy 17,825 sf at the 16-floor facility. The building is located near One Wilshire, which contains Downtown's main fiber node.
The tenant, Oak Brook, IL-based Looking Glass Networks, was represented by Jonathan Larsen of Trammell Crow Co. The owners, Menlo Equities and AEW Capital Management, were represented in-house.
The 600 Wilshire facility, along with the 626 Wilshire building, had been recently purchased by a partnership formed between Menlo Equities and AEW Capital Management, in a deal estimated at $40 million.
