Shorenstein Realty Services handled the lease transactions. Both are six-year leases that commence March 1, 2002.

MMI Group, which manages the professional risk management division of St. Paul's Insurance Company, will house 40 to 45 employees on the fourth and the sixth floors of the City Center building.

Elm Resources, which develops loan processing and management systems, will house 10 employees on the 11th floor of the building. With more than 2 million sf of office space, 13 restaurants, a dozen retail shops and parking for 1,600 cars, the Shorenstein-owned City Center offers an attractive location from an employee perspective, says Elm Resources COO Ulrika Myggen.

The Marriott Hotel and Oakland Convention Center are directly across from the City Center development. In addition Shorenstein has added 472,000 sf of office and retail space at 555 City Center.
