The 15,000-sf building, which includes R&D and office space, was purchased by a locally based general contractor. Located at 7651 Haskell Ave, the facility will serve as corporate headquarters for the company EPI Inc. The firm will relocate from a nearby facility in Van Nuys to the new headquarters later this month.

Todd Lorber of Grubb & Elllis' North Los Angeles office represented EPI Inc. He also represented the seller, The Selter Family Trust of Encino.

This deal follows a recent transaction involving an office and R&D building in Cerritos. As reported this morning by GlobeSt.com, the 39,009-sf Cerritos facility has been sold to LA-based Jama Properties LLC for $3.2 million.
