The NAIOP Rising Star award is given to brokers with five or less years of experience who demonstrate through production, community service, professionalism and leadership their promise as a leader in the brokerage community. Mary Descant, another Caldwell Watson broker, had been among the top three finalists for the award.

Fred Caldwell, president of Caldwell Watson, says "we've known for some time that we made the right decision when we recruited Caleb. His energy and moral character are a huge asset to our firm." Lawson had been hired about two years ago.

The ProLogis Trailblazer award also is given to strong new brokers in the industrial real estate field. Lawson believes his success is a function of the firm's philosophy. "Caldwell Watson walks the walk," says Lawson. "We don't just put a mission statement on our wall, and then forget about our values. We live it every single day."
