The real estate investment banker secured $10 million for 10 years at a fixed rate for a 10-story office building on Market Street in San Francisco. Cohen also arranged $11.25 million in debt placement for a 123,000-sf retail center in San Jose called Santa Teresa Village. Terms of the seven-year, non-recourse loan based on seven-year Treasuries include a 30-year amortization.

In the largest local deal to date for the firm, Cohen also secured $45 million in equity from an institutional investor for Bernal Office Park, a 745,000sf office complex in Pleasanton. The company also found a Wall Street conduit to provide $8.33 million for a 139,265-sf, six-building office complex in Novato, about 30 miles north of the Golden Gate. Terms of the 10-year loan include a 25-year amortization.

In the Sacramento area, the company arranged a $6.85 million, 10-year loan for the 55,563 sf Cordova Village Shopping Center in Rancho Cordova. The company also secured $1.3 million for a mixed-use project on Howe Ave.
