Suburb Sees Variety of New Projects

HAZEL PARK, MI-Entertainment, lodging, industrial and residential needs are all being served in this suburb bordering Detroit. They range from a 500-seat dinner theater and restaurant to condominiums.

HAZEL PARK, MI-This suburb on the north border of Detroit has a few largeprojects in the works this summer. They include a new 500-seat dinner theater/restaurant will locate on Woodward Heights and Vance Street will have construction started this summer.

Developer Vince DiLorenzo says he wants to add the venue to create an entertainment complex to go with nearby Viking Ice Arena, Hazel Park Raceway and the bowlingcenter.

Fox Aluminum Co. is scheduled to open their new 43,000-sf facility on Woodward Heights, just west of the ice arena.
