Several Carey affiliates, REITS that invest in single-tenant commercial properties, have also announced first quarter dividends payable on Apr. 12 to those who held shares on Mar. 30. Carey Institutional Properties Inc. will pay out $20.86 per 100 shares, the 37th quarter its dividend has increased over the prior quarter.

Corporate Property Associates 10 Inc., which owns interests in 53 properties in 17 states that are leased to 14 tenants, will distribute $17.87 per 100 shares. It has paid out dividends 41 times, 35 of them increases over the previous quarter, five unchanged and one that was lower. Corporate Property Associates 12: $20.49 (its 28th dividend increase) and Corporate Property Associates 14: $17.50 (its 11th dividend increase).

W. P. Carey, a lessor of net-leased corporate real estate, has paid out approximately $138 million in dividends since it went public in January 1998. All told, it owns and manages more than 44 million sf of property in the US and Europe.
