The locally based real estate development and management company announced earlier this month the first phase of the realignment that put Forrest W. Robinson, former Duke-Weeks Corp. regional executive vice president, in charge of the company's recently formed real estate development group.

"By combining the operations of our brokerage and property management companies, we'll expand our full-service real estate capabilities and strengthen our commitment to our clients," Armando Codina, Codina Group chairman and chief executive officer, says in a prepared statement. "John will work closely with Forrest Robinson…to maximize the cross-selling opportunities. This will be an integral part of our continued growth in South Florida's changing marketplace."

Besides naming Geisen president of the newly created subsidiary, the company promoted Edward J. Prelaz Jr. to executive vice president of Codina Real Estate Management Inc.

Prior to joining Codina Realty Services in 2000, Geisen worked as vice president and managing director in the South Florida offices of CB Richard Ellis Inc. He originally opened the company's Palm Beach County office in 1986.
