Altitude has leased space in the Stratum Executive Center, 11044 Research Blvd., which is owned and managed by USAA Realty Co. Steve McMillon of the Kucera Cos. in Austin has represented Altitude while USAA has used in-house broker Paul Joseph to negotiate the lease.

Altitude, formerly Easyphone, is a global provider of solutions for unified customer interact software. The software allows a company to track various interactions of a single customer in all forms of verbal, written or electronic communication. The company intends to use the office location as a facility for professional services, project development and customer training.

Last June, Altitude had launched its flagship software package. Partners in the region include Harland, Teleconnect, WorldCom and ClearCube. Company officials are calling the move to Austin a critical piece of the company's North America expansion over the last year. "We have decided to expand our base of operations with the knowledge that we need to have a presence in all areas where our customers may be located," says Steve Holmes, Altitude Software general manager of North America.
