The reorganization recognizes the commercial real estate company's "fast-expanding base of construction business outside of our managed portfolio," says Bruce Palmer, senior vice president of United Properties' constructionmanagement.

The three officer promotions include:

* Tom Smith to vice president and business unit manager of agency tenant improvement, a units that provides construction management services for building and tenant improvements for properties United owns ormanages.

* John Boben to vice president and business unit manager of shell buildings, a unit that is can provide shell building construction for internal development projects, as well as pursue independent, bid-basedcontracts across the market. The primary focus will be single-story office, industrial and retail properties.

* Bruce McCulloch to vice president and business unit manager of corporate construction services, a unit that acts as an owner's representative, consulting with corporations on their construction needs. The unit will work closely with United Properties' corporate real estate services group, and with a variety of independent corporate customers.

United Properties is a full-service commercial real estate company with 350 employees and 23 million sf of office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties under management. The company's provides brokerage, property management, corporate real estate services, facility services, construction management, development services and investment services.
