The building, which will provide approximately 285,000 sf of office space and more than 1,150 parking spaces, will be built in two phases. The first phase includes building approximately 150,000 sf of space scheduled for occupancy in the summer of 2002. The second phase involves building another 135,000 sf of rentable space, which is slated for occupancy in late 2004.
The building's design and construction team includes architects Davis Carter Scott Ltd. of Tysons Corner, VA, civil engineers from Chester Engineers of Gaithersburg, mechanical engineers from GHT Limited, structural engineers Smislova, Kehnemui & Associates, and the Clark Construction Group. Fremont Properties' portfolio includes more than 6 million sf of commercial space across the country, including the Washingtonian One tower here.
