This past October, Lodestar entered the southwest area by opening an office in Houston, TX. A month later, the company moved into its new offices here at 2 Corporation Way while still maintaining an office on Essex Center Drive here. The company's newest offices are adjacent to the headquarters at 1 Corporation Way. At 18,500 sf of space the company stated in a released statement that the new office provides options for future expansions.
Lodestar did nor return calls by presstime, but in a statement, Jacquie Arthur is quoted as saying, "More and more energy companies are turning to us for the solutions they need to meet the complex needs of the deregulated energy market. We are expanding our resources to meet this increased demand." Among the company's clients are Shell Energy Services Co., Electric Reliability Council of Texas, TXU, Alleghany Power, BC Hydro and Southern Co.
