Catamount Constructors Inc., based in Denver and Atlanta, had built the store for the grocery chain. It represents the first store the contractor built for Albertsons. Construction has been under way since after Albertsons completed an extensive bidding process. The opening has been met with a weeklong celebration to fete the community's newest grocer.
Catamount, founded in 1977, also has built several stores for Walgreen's, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. It also has completed projects for JVC, BMW, Saturn and the John Harland Co.
