ORLANDO-In an unconventional deal, Orlando Terrace Inc., headed by developer Cameron Kuhn, has closed on the $1.94 million purchase of the 60-year-old, 66,000-sf U.S. Postal Service building at 46 E. Robinson St., Downtown. GlobeSt.com reported the pending closing March 9.

The purchase price equates to $38.03 per sf, based on 51,000 usable sf the buyer will actually have after deeding back 15,000 sf to the Postal Service for its ongoing daily operations. The $1.94 million price is scaled down from the initially-disclosed $2.02 million purchase number.

Kuhn plans to convert the facility to a one-user office condominium by year end.
