MEDC To Open 11 More Vocational Schools

DETROIT-A public-private partnership is assisting colleges in obtaining grants to open

DETROIT-Officials from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation recently said they have arranged for 11 more technical training centers to be located on community college campuses throughout the state. There are 18 Michigan Technical Education Centers scheduled to open this year.

Seven are currently open for business, including Bay de Noc Community College of Escanaba, Grand Rapids Community College of Holland, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Lake Michigan College at Benton Harbor, Northwestern Michigan College at Traverse City and Oakland Community College at Auburn Hills.
