Tosta specializes in real estate, land use and environmental law. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie in 1989, Tosta managed his own firm, which was once recognized by American Lawyer magazine as one of the nation's "great specialty firms" in the field of real estate.

Davidoff has more than 20 years of experience in federal and state environmental, land use and natural resources law matters. She specializes in all aspects of state and federal land use and environmental matters including CEQA/NEPA compliance, natural resources, air and water law, public trust and coastal matters and endangered species.

Steefel, Levitt & Weiss' managing shareholder Barry Lee says the new group is needed because more towers are going up, more campuses are being built and more apartments are being developed. "We are betting that the bloom is still on the rose," said Lee in announcing the new hires.
