LAUREL, MD-Clothing manufacturer and wholesaler Dynamic Design Enterprises is the first tenant to lease space in the not-yet-complete Whiskey Bottom Trade Center C. The company signed a 17,358 sf lease for space in the 55,287 sf flex/industrial building, which is slated for completion in April. Gingery Development Group of Rockville, owner and the developer of the 180,000-sf Whiskey Bottom Trade Center complex, is developing the building.
Dynamic Design Enterprises is a private-label that manufactures for Nordstrom and other retailers. Along with its sister company SWC Inc., which will be sharing its Laurel space, the company licenses to the well-known brands Bollé Tennis Wear and Pebble Beach Golf Wear. The company will be moving from Columbia, MD and expanding its operations. “We look forward to moving into this new facility, which will enable us, for the first time, to bring customers to our new corporate offices and showroom,” says Dynamic Design’s Hilton Gluck.
Howard County Council Chairman Guy Guzzone credits the developer with seeing the economic potential of the area. “Gingery has been one of the pioneers in the ongoing revitalization of the Route One corridor,” says Guzzone.
