The final draft of the agreement between owner Robert Hall and the city wasn't ready in time for Wednesday night's meeting, according to cityofficials. The council will likely vote at a special meeting next week.
Under the agreement, the parcel will become one of the city's largest parks. Residents support a city purchase of the property for ballfields, a swimming pool, housing and gardens.
