According to the terms of the seven-year lease, Encore Entertainment Insurance Services LLC will occupy the entire 7,040-sf office component at Studio Plaza, the 100,000-sf mixed-use development in Studio City. The European-style complex is located at Ventura Boulevard and Vineland Avenue, directly below City Walk. Developed and managed by North Hollywood-based VDA Property Co., the project is anchored by a 55,000-sf Ralph's grocery and includes retailers such as Rite-Aid and Blockbuster Video.
Encore will relocate its offices from its previous location in Sherman Oaks to the new site. The company is a program manager underwriting on behalf of The St. Paul Insurance Cos. It specializes in the entertainment business, specifically risks for the film, video, music and theatrical stage industries.
