Veigle denies the charges and through representatives, tells GlobeSt.com he will fight the allegations all the way to the Florida Supreme Court if he has to. The 56-year-old property owner faces a total 170 years in prison if convicted on all 13 charges.

Lawyers familiar with the allegations tell GlobeSt.com the case will drag on for at least two years or more if Veigle is convicted. Veigle has closed his flagship club, Rachel's in suburban Casselberry, FL, and still operates lounges in south Orlando and West Palm Beach, FL. He and his family own and operate office and industrial buildings in suburban Winter Park, FL.

Veigle's arrest comes after the Office of Statewide Prosecution spent five years, an unspecified amount of funds and hundreds of undercover investigative hours documenting the charges. A total of 35 persons have been arrested and charged to date on a mix of charges relating to prostitution, drug dealing and money laundering.
