Rim Corp. Sells Two Best Western Hotels

SACRAMENTO, CA-The 138-room Best Western Harbor Inn and Suites was sold to C.R. Patel for more than $6.5 million. The Placerville Best Western Inn was sold to Kumar Sharma, who plans to spend $250,000 upgrading 10 rooms to executive suites.

SACRAMENTO, CA-Rim Corp. of Modesto, CA has unloaded two of its Best Western Hotels in the Sacramento area. The 138-room Best Western Harbor Inn and Suites sold for more than $6.5 million to C.R. Patel who plans to spend $1 million on new carpeting, furniture and phone systems with data ports.

The Placerville Best Western Inn was sold to Kumar Sharma, who didn’t reveal how much he paid for the hotel, but did say he plans to spend $250,000 to upgrade at least ten rooms to executive suites. “And if we can get the proper permits from the city along with a redevelopment grant we’d like to increase that to 20 rooms,” Sharma tells GlobeSt.com.
