Fujitsu has taken 24,000 sf in West Port Industrial Park at 7110 Old Katy Rd. in west Houston. David Hudson, Trammell Crow's vice president of the industrial division, has represented park owner Connecticut General Life Insurance. Fujitsu was represented by Staubach & Co. Based in Kawasaki, Japan, Fujitsu Network Communications is a designer and manufacturer oftelecommunications software and hardware.

Trammell Crow had developed West Port Industrial Park for Times Square Real Estate Investors, then Connecticut General Life Insurance. The first 192,000-sf building had been completed in late 1999. The park also contains a 206,400-sf building, which had been completed in February.

Trammell Crow was also instrumental in negotiating 8,235 sf of subleased office space for Global Project Consultants from tenant Aspen Technology Inc. Ashford V is located at 14701 St. Mary's Lane in west Houston. Office division associate, Elliot Hirshfeld of Trammell Crow has handled the deal. Houston-based Global Project Consultants provides development assistance, consulting, project and construction services to energy-related companies.
